Brazilian Emerald (Panna) – 2.5 Carat / 2.8 Ratti [GM03566]

Was a little nervous buying something like this online, but it turned out beautifully. The cut is neat, the facets are symmetrical and there is a genuine lustre to it. Shipping was tracked properly and I got updates at every step.

It is a good piece, though slightly different from what I had pictured. The colour is a little deeper than in the photo, which I actually prefer. They sent an actual photograph of the piece before dispatch, which built trust.

Half satisfied, half not. One side has a small chip on the girdle. Not visible once set, but still. The invoice was missing from the parcel and I had to request it separately. Three stars feels right for this.
